Futuro Media’s CEO and Executive Director Erika Dilday: Journalists Can Help People Tell Their Own Stories by Talking Less, Listening More
September 16, 2020 / Nieman Reports
Futuro Media is looking for a digital intern to work primarily with two of Futuro’s media properties:
Latino USA is produced out of our Harlem office by The Futuro Media Group, an independent non-profit media organization that explores and gives voice to the diversity of the American experience. Latino USA is a weekly hour-long radio magazine show hosted by Maria Hinojosa. The show airs in about 200 public radio stations nationwide with a podcast that got more than 2 million downloads in 2017.
Latino Rebels is a collective of writers, editors, journalists, bloggers, opinion makers, and content curators. The group uses social media, news, humor, and commentary to analyze and observe the U.S. Latino world and Latin America. Founded in 2011, Latino Rebels reaches a wide audience through Latino Rebels Radio and its website latinorebels.com.
Student will need to come into the office located in Harlem one or two days per week, and work remotely.
