Juan Diego Ramirez

Juan Diego Ramirez is a multimedia bilingual producer and journalist at Futuro Studios. He co-produces and co-hosts Racist Sandwich, a James Beard Foundation nominated podcast on food, class, race, and gender. Having lived as an undocumented immigrant for over 20 years, Juan Diego decided to focus on telling stories from communities that reflect his life experiences. He’s worked on prestigious works including Anything for Selena, Ídolo: The Ballad of Chalino Sánchez, and the NAACP Award-nominated podcast, The Sum of Us. He attends Baruch College, where he received the 2022 Arnold Picker Excellence Award in Journalism.
