We are proud to share Futuro Media’s Annual Report with you! We invite you to read our highlights and see the crucial work of our Futuro Media staff. Our digital report is best read on desktop. At a glance, here are some accomplishments:

• Produced 16 in-depth stories for our “The Latino Factor: How We Vote” election series, tackling topics like inflation, reproductive justice, gun control, and misinformation—amplifying Latino perspectives absent in mainstream media. That coverage won a Webby Award and was nominated for two NAHJ Ñ Awards.
• Launched a pop-up season of In The Thick, producing unfiltered political discussions with Maria Hinojosa and new co-hosts Dr. Christina Greer, Paola Ramos, and Judy Reyes. Started a video series “La Mentirota,” a partnership with Factchequeado, to debunk viral mis and disinformation online.
• Futuro Studios launched three original new series in 2024—Stars and Stars With Isa with SiriusXM, My Divo with AppleTV+, and Chess Piece: The Elián González Story with iHeartMedia.
• Futuro Investigates continued their humanizing reporting, releasing the Latino USA audio episodes for “Toxic Labor”, “The Mortgage Wall”, and “The Misinformation Web” and published bilingual investigations for all three. Winner of the Edward R. Murrow Award for Investigative Reporting.
